How Big Now is a pregnancy countdown app that turns your due date into a home screen wallpaper and widget. This page explains what information the app collects, why, and how it's handled. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
Account information. The app creates an anonymous account for you automatically — no name, email address, or password is required or collected to use the app.
Pregnancy and preference information. Your due date and your chosen wallpaper theme, so the app can calculate your current week and generate the right wallpaper.
Photos you choose to upload. If you use the bump-photo feature, the photo you select is uploaded and stored so it can be used in your wallpaper and in the photo time-lapse feature. Photos are stored under your own account and are not visible to other users unless you use Partner Sync (below).
Partner sharing (optional). If you link your account with a partner, a partner code and your linked account ID are used to keep both accounts' due date, theme, and wallpaper in sync.
Notification and wallpaper-delivery data. If you enable notifications or automatic wallpaper updates, the app stores a push notification token and your device's timezone offset. These are used only to reliably deliver scheduled wallpaper refreshes and weekly reminders — never for anything else.
Purchase information. If you unlock the VIP Pass, the purchase is processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to check whether your purchase is valid and keep your entitlement in sync — we receive your purchase/entitlement status only, and never see or store your card details.
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers. A small number of service providers process data on our behalf, strictly to run the app:
Your data is stored in Supabase's hosted database and file storage, protected by row-level security rules that restrict every record to your own account — no other user's account can read your due date, photos, or preferences (except a linked partner's account, if you've enabled that). All data is encrypted in transit.
How Big Now is intended for expectant parents and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
